Seventy women farmers in Udaipur received training on the Turmeric Package of Practices as part of the “Farmer’s Prosperity and Resilience through Climate Smart Tech Agriculture Project.” A three-day training on Books of Record was provided to 32 participants in Jhajjar to help them equip themselves with the skills needed to standardise record-keeping. Conducted a two-day workshop under the Entrepreneurship Development Program with Udyogini Didi's to assess their entrepreneurial potential and encourage innovative thinking. Successfully conducted a field exposure visit for 20 selected farmers from Jhadol block. Tge farmers visited organic farming resource centers, High-tech vegetable nursery and grocery stores. Recently organised a special event in 5 villages to discuss the potential and aspirations for rural Dhaulpur's development.

Naresh Nain

Naresh Nain is working as a Program Director in Manjari Foundation and is based at Udaipur Rajasthan. He has over 16 years of rural development experience working with Professional Assistance for Development Action and Manjari Foundation in villages of red corridors of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. He has completed a master's in English literature and Master's in business administration (MBA) from Kurukshetra University. He has been awarded a Netherlands Fellowship and completed development courses from Wageningen Netherlands. He studied in South Africa and Indonesia as well. He has formulated, designed, implemented, and supervised livelihood-based projects funded by corporate, philanthropic, government, and CSR as well. His expertise areas are community mobilization, building their institutions like Self-Help Groups, federations, and producer companies for promoting sustainable livelihoods.

He is the instrumental to replicating SHG model in West Africa Mali and Senegal. He is also empanelled as a National Resource Person by NIRDPR Hyderabad and supporting state SRLMs for the implementation of National Rural Livelihood Mission project. He is also appointed Certified Sustainability Assessor by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He has been a working committee member in the sub-group on Women Empowerment and Security formed by NITI Ayog. He is also part of member in the livestock development committee formed by government of Rajasthan.
