Punam Gondia is a dedicated development professional with over 20 years of experience working with national and international agencies, MFIs, NBFCs, banks, SHG promoting institutions, cooperatives, and various government and NGO organizations. Her expertise includes capacity building, module development, business planning, policy advocacy, market research, pilot rollouts, monitoring and evaluation, and impact assessment. Punam has significantly strengthened systems and policies and enhanced human resource capabilities in operations and financial management across diverse organizations. She has also served as a visiting faculty member at the School of Planning and Architecture from 2009 to 2012 and is a board member of the Manjari Foundation, which empowers marginalized communities to overcome social injustice, poverty, and exclusion. Punam holds a Master of Town Planning in Regional Planning from the School of Planning & Architecture in New Delhi and a Master's in Arts in Geography from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Geography Honours from Kamla Nehru College, Delhi University. Her co-authored publication includes 'SHG Members as CSPs in the Indian Business Correspondent Model: Chances and Challenges' (GIZ–NABARD, 2012). Additionally, she completed a one-year apprentice program in PRADAN, training on Labour Rights with the International Labour Organization (ILO), and holds a trainer certificate in Social Performance Management (SPM). Punam also qualified for the National Eligibility Test for Lecturers (NET) in 2006. Proficient in Hindi, Haryanvi, and English, Punam's extensive experience and commitment to social development make her a distinguished professional in her field.
